One of the staples of the Hatchback segment is the Volkswagen Golf. In the previous model year released a brand new version of the Golf with four versions: GTI GLS and GTI GLX. Sales for the Golf, especially the Golf GL, were brisk during 2000 and 2001. The improved vehicle quality and the classic styling were responsible for the sales boost.

We Think…
There are several reasons why the Volkswagen Golf GL sold well in 2000. Mainly the increase in availability and a marked improvement in quality meant the buying public was more apt to choose a Volkswagen, specifically a Golf.

My wife live in my Golf! It’s by far the most successful hatchback I’ve ever had.
That seems superior although i am still not too certain that I prefer it. Anyways will look more into it and decide for myself!
I was aware of this previously, but nonetheless there were several beneficial bits which finalized the picture for me personally, regards!
