Pontiac has been blessed with many award-winning designs, including the Pontiac Firebird of 2001. There are three trim levels to the Firebird, including Trans Am, Base, and Formula. The Trans Am version is one of the more popular options. Like in 2000 the popular 5.7 liter Chevrolet has made this a popular choice for convertible buyers across the country.

Pontiac Firebird Engine Specs: The Firebird Trans Am comes outfitted with a Chevrolet 5.7 liter, 8-cylinder motor that uses 16 valves. The engine, manufactured by General Motors, is teamed up with a General Motors 4-speed transmission. This arrangement has demonstrated to be an effective style for Pontiac.
The Firebird uses power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. Steering is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The car uses coil and coil springs front and rear respectively.

The Firebird is 193.30 inches long, 74.40 inches wide, and 51.80 inches high. It has a wheelbase of 101.10 inches. It is able to seat 4 comfortably.
The original manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) was $25,475 when new, with a dealer invoice cost of $23,310. This price was in line with the industry average price for a 2-door Convertible.
Fuel Efficiency
The 2001 Firebird’s traditional fuel system runs on gas. The fuel is regulated electronically, with a fuel-injected multi-port fuel injection style of design. The fuel tank holds 16.80 gallons.
The Firebird Trans Am received a miles-per-gallon rating of nineteen in-city driving and twenty six when it came to long-distance. Being a gas-powered non-green car, this was exceptional.

Aw, this was a very nice post. In thought I wish to put in writing like this moreover – taking time and actual effort to make a very good article… however what can I say… I procrastinate alot and in no way seem to get something done.
Alright, that is a good start but i’m going to take a look at that a tad more. Will let you know exactly what else i’ve found.
That looks fine yet i am still not too certain that I prefer it. Nevertheless will look more into it and choose for myself!
