As time has gone by several things can be said about the Pontiac Solstice series: including the strong reaction most buyers have towards their car. The 4-cylinder engine is at the core of the strong emotions, it is reliable for its class and delivers a huge amount of torque.
In 2009 Nissan released the 350Z Enthusiast to the car-buying market. The 350Z came in three configurations: Touring, Grand Touring, and Enthusiast. The Enthusiast configuration is powered by the 3.5-liter six-cylinder engine, which makes 23 highway miles and 17 city. The 350Z competes in the Convertible market segment, in direct competition with Kia.
The restyled tC Base is equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that utilizes 16 valves. The engine is mated to a Toyota four-speed transaxle. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 2008 version.
The restyled 350Z Touring is equipped with a Nissan 3.5-liter 6-cylinder engine that utilizes a total of 24 valves. The engine is paired with a Jatco 5-speed transmission. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Nissan.
