One of the staples of the Coupe segment is the Scion tC. In the previous model year debuted a brand new version of the tC with two versions: Base and Spec. Sales for the tC, especially the tC Spec, were brisk during 2007 and 2008. The improved vehicle quality and the classic styling were responsible for the boost in sales.

There have been several award-winning cars from Scion over the years, including the Scion tC of 2005. There are one trim levels to the tC, including Base. The Base version is one of the more popular options, outselling other configurations. Like in 2004 the popular 2.4 liter has made this a popular choice for coupe buyers nationwide.
